About Us

International Humanitarian Services (I.H.S) is committed to bringing hope to children and limited resource families through community training, health, nutrition and education programs. Our mission is accomplished through cross-cultural forums, USA citizenship classes, service learning, volunteer outreach opportunities (for those desiring to lend their skills and talents through various projects); as well as emergency assistance for limited resource individuals and families.

Our organization impacts our target population through strategic local and international partnerships, which include non-profit organizations, governmental entities, schools and universities, faith-based and other community-based organizations. Global partnerships include international governmental ministries of health, education, children and women’s affairs; NGO’s; faith- based organizations; civic groups and businesses. Through the citizenship classes, sixty-five (65) participants have been trained with several successfully completing the citizenship process. Five hundred (500) children and their families benefit annually from program efforts and more than 2,000 humanitarian workers have been trained.
